Here Is What I Have
Formulated For You
Visually Impaired
Microsoft Accessibility Features can be beneficial for
many VI students. Try using the Accessibility features
such as the Windows magnifier, the high contrast
features, large pointer, or targeting the pointer features.
These can be found by clicking accessories in
the start menu. Then select accessibility or if
in Vista, ease of access. Follow the
questions from the accessibility wizard. Click
the icon to the right.
For creating an audible desktop as well as narration of all digital text, use Read
and Write Gold. Using the pull down arrow next to the play button select Speech
Options. Then select the Auto Read tab. Check Screen Reading.
If your student does not benefit from these standard
approaches, consider the use of a product such as ZoomText.
