Most students want to be independent, but how can a student prepare for a test if they cannot read? |
One answer may be to have the text read to them aloud. Students can use the special features in Read and Write Gold to convert digital text into audible speech. Simple access to digital text can be achieved by requesting it for the student. The student can then have the text made audible using standard text to speech features. If the student doesn't have access to a computer, an inexpensive MP3 may be the answer. |
Teach the student to convert digital text to a speech and place it in an MP3 player; preferably a USB style for ease of use. The Speech Maker button in Read and Write gold makes this task simple. |
