Once your student has developed recognition of words; you may want to advance this skill to written production of thoughts and ideas. |
Step 1 : Establish Basic Sight word recognition with software and drills. |
Step 2 : Apply sight word recognition to Word Prediction software in Read and Write Gold combined with Writing With Symbols 2000. If needed, be sure to right click on the blue word prediction box and check "speak when pointer hovers over word". |
Step 3 : Reduce software applications as possible and increase independence |
